Why
here?
Muel
is just 40 minutes from Dinan airport. The region is scattered with
medieval towns and villages, ancient oak forests and nature trails.
Originally this piece of land had a cob house built on it which
was demolished in the 70s and replaced with a concrete block house
but retaining the oak roof. We hope to build a green oak house using
oak from the local forests.

First
steps
The
current house is built on a green field site. If the house is demolished
the land reverts to green field. We will add an extension to the
current building and eventually demolish the concrete building.
Our architects are Green Oak Frames. You can see a plot plan here

next?
If
you would like to learn how to build natural homes, there will be
lots of opportunities at various stages of the build to join us
at Muel. You can either camp on site or stay in one of the many
small hotels nearby for 30 Euro.
We
will help you to organise your budget travel to Dinan and collect
you from the airport. If you would like to find out more about the
project please
